The Yakima Valley Fair and Rodeo each August comes with a little bit of everything.

In 2011, the 84th annual event was held, complete with a Patsy Cline tribute singer, a rodeo, livestock shows and tractor tire changing and draft horse pulling contests. It takes place at Country Park on Wallace Way.

The event, held over four days, draws upwards of 3,000 people with its varied attractions, including a parade through town.

A vehicle show, another of the weekend’s highlights, is open to all types of vehicles, farm trucks and tractors.
