2415 S. First St., Yakima
Ed and Irene Miner opened the hamburger stand more then 60 years ago.

Today it’s a full-service restaurant run by third-generation owners Gary and Renee Miner and their parents, second-generation owners Lee and Lois Miner.

The original Big Miner burger is still one of the restaurant’s most popular items, but it also offers a wide range of sandwiches and salads to accommodate people’s tastes and dietary needs.

The generous portions and competitive prices — most items are less than $10 each — make it a popular spot for families and high school sports teams.

Open from 8:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday. 509-457-8194.
